Pair of Waikiki Rocking Lounge Chairs by Walter Lamb for Brown Jordan
By Brown Jordan
A pair of bronze rocking lounge chairs designed by Walter Lamb and produced by Brown Jordan. The design, referred to as the “Waikiki” chair, has a boat-like shape in tubular bronze with a sinuously curved seat on a pair of bent runners. Three C-shaped supports intersect the frame beneath the seat. The seat is wrapped horizontally with cotton sailcord, lightly glazed to render it suitable for outdoor use.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The rope has been replaced according to the original design. The bronze has an age-appropriate patina.
Dimensions: 70” length x 21” width. At rest, the piece measures 20.5” high, with a seat height of 9”.
